Nylon screen: It is a common plate substrate. The woven composition consists of polyamide fibers. A synthetic fiber, also known as nylon screen, nylon mesh, nylon screen. Nylon wire mesh is characterized by high strength, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, water resistance, and elasticity. Because the wire diameter is uniform and the surface is smooth, the ink passability is also excellent. The disadvantage is that the stretchability of the nylon mesh is large. This kind of screen has a reduced tension after stretching for a period of time, which causes the screen plate to become slack and the accuracy to decrease. Therefore, it is not suitable to print circuit boards with high dimensional accuracy.

Polyester mesh: Also called polyester mesh, it is also a kind of synthetic fiber. Mesh area and density are even. Its chemical resistance is stronger than that of nylon mesh, and its elongation is lower than that of nylon mesh. The disadvantage is that static electricity is generated during printing, and the moisture content is inferior to nylon mesh.

Metal mesh: Features high strength, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, surface finish is also high, and the conductivity is particularly good, the disadvantage is that the elasticity is small, the screen has creases, it can not restore elasticity, resulting in scrap.

Cotton yarn mesh: poor uniformity, mesh size is not the same, different shapes, low pressure resistance. Therefore, the quality of the plate produced and the effect of printing is not satisfactory, and therefore it has been rarely used.

Silk screen: uniformity, tensile strength, surface finish is higher than the cotton screen, the disadvantage is that the elongation is too large, easy to aging deterioration, light resistance is not good, long-term exposure to light can easily become brittle.
